The most successful season of Petaluma Leghorns baseball came to end with a 10-0 seven-inning loss to Brooklawn, N.J., in the championship game of the American Legion World Series championship game on Tuesday night.
Petaluma finished its sensational season as the second best American Legion baseball team in the country. Over 5,000 teams compete in American Legion baseball.
