Ben Stern, Petaluma High School 2009 graduate, has been awarded with the highest honor of both athletic and educational excellence at the college level.

Stern was recently awarded the Male Scholar Athlete of the Year award for Humboldt State University. The cross country and track athlete had a 3.41 grade point average for the school year, as an environmental resources engineering major.
