Rainy days usually ruin sports, unless Damon Neidlinger is your baseball coach, and sports were far from ruined today.
In all sports, there was a wide variety of craziness on this rainy Spring day. In baseball, Yankee great Andy Pettitte came out of retirement to rejoin the team. The Yankees now have seven different options for their starting rotation, and this will be a very interesting story all year.
The Peyton Manning saga continues. Manning worked out for the Denver Broncos today and the sports world found of that the San Francisco 49ers and now a sleeper team for Manning. You can see that I believe the 49ers are Manning’s best option.
Of course it’s March and that means one thing; madness. March Madness is underway and the upsets just keep coming. Most notably, number 2 seeds Duke and Missouri lost to number 15 seeds Lehigh and Norfolk St. Yes, my brackets are officially busted, but I love the upsets.
The great thing about sports is that even in the roughest conditions, there will always be something going on. Life’s a ball.
